I'm a singer/song-writer currently from Hoboken, NJ. I've been performing various types of music (folk, rock, avant garde) in the NYC area since 1987. I'm currently recording a new batch of songs at Super Giraffe Sound in Brooklyn, NY.
In 2014 I released my second solo album A Garden Of My Own on Twin Lakes Records (produced by Ivan Julian). One of those songs, "All To Become Somebody," as performed at a live in-studio session for WFMU/FMA, was featured in the film The Lives We Lead, written and directed by Davo Hardy (Sydney, Australia). And here are some kind words and a performance/interview on The Space Is The Place (by our friends in Antietam).
I currently play bass in psych-O-positive and sometimes for Rose Thomas Bannister. I am also a back-up vocalist for The Special Pillow and Ivan Julian and perform semi-regularly with The Loser's Lounge.
I moved Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 1986 and started out performing with the avant garde group the Summit Ensemble. I went on to become the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the all-female rock band The Aquanettas (Nettwerk Records) in 1987 and we toured the US and UK in the 90's. In the latter part of that decade, my acquaintance with Joan Osbourne led to a solo album on Mercury Records produced by James Mastro. In the mid-aughts through early teens I was the bass player and backup singer for P.G. Six band.
